When a brand new home goes up, the landscaping is often the last thing people think about - and the first thing everyone notices. A fresh build without a finished landscape just feels incomplete. That's the gap we love to fill.
This one started on screen. We built out a full 3D design so the homeowners could actually see the plan before a single plant went in the ground. Plant placement, bed shapes, tree locations - all of it mapped out ahead of time. That step matters more than people realize. It takes the guesswork out of the process and makes sure the finished product matches the vision.
From there, it was all about execution. We shaped the beds to work with the architecture of the home, brought in rich dark mulch that contrasts cleanly against the stone foundation, and placed plants and trees with room to grow. Nothing overcrowded, nothing thrown in just to fill space. Every element has a purpose.
The tree planted along the side of the home is a good example of that thinking. It's positioned to add height and visual interest over time without crowding the structure. That's the kind of detail that separates a thoughtful landscape design from just dropping plants in the dirt.
A new build is a blank canvas, and getting the landscaping right from day one sets the whole property up for the long haul. Good bones, smart plant selection, and clean installation - that's what makes a house actually feel like home from the outside in.
