Most lawns fail because of what happens before the first roll of sod ever hits the ground. Bad grade, poor soil, zero prep - and you end up with bare patches and uneven turf no matter how much you water it. That's exactly what we're focused on avoiding here.
We dug this area out, brought in premium Twin City Trucking topsoil, and spent real time getting the final grade right before touching a single roll of Lena sod. It sounds like extra work because it is. But that prep is what separates a lawn that fills in thick and stays that way from one that struggles all season.
The crew had the Kubota moving sod pallets across a large open yard while others laid and fitted each roll by hand. That mix of equipment efficiency and hands-on detail work is just how we operate. Big area, no shortcuts.
The outdoor living space - a circular gravel patio with Adirondack chairs already set up - was already in place, and the landscaping beds with fresh plantings and black mulch were ready to go. Our job at this stage was tying it all together with a clean, solid lawn that matches the quality of everything else on the property. Fresh Lena sod is exactly what this setup called for.
