We're in the middle of a full landscape install here, and this is what the early stages look like when it's done right. Before any plants go in, before any stone gets placed - the ground prep has to be solid. That's exactly where we are.
Two Kubota machines on site working the beds along the front of the building. The mini excavator is getting into the tight spots right up against the foundation, while the tractor handles the heavier material movement in the open areas. Using the right equipment for each task makes a big difference - it keeps the work clean and protects the existing hardscape and structure.
A lot of landscaping looks great on day one and starts falling apart within a couple seasons. Usually it comes back to how the job was set up underground. Proper grading, soil prep, and bed shaping aren't the flashy part of the job - but they're what separates an install that holds up from one that doesn't.
Commercial properties have a higher standard to meet. The curb appeal of a building like this is part of the brand. We take that seriously, and it shows in how we approach the work from the very first pass of the bucket.
The finished product is coming. We're putting in the groundwork now so everything lands exactly where it should when it's all said and done.
